This Concealed Handgun training for the state of Arkansas consists of a total of 7 1/2 to 8 hours of training in the class room and on a live-fire range that will include practice and instruction with a handgun followed by live-fire qualification. The students are advised to bring a semiautomatic handgun and a minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition. The class will be taught in a modern, comfortable facility with an adjoining firing range. Normally, the classes are taught on Saturdays beginning at 8:00 AM and concluding around 4:30 PM.
Special classes can be held for groups of 6 or more with special arrangements for dates and times. Please contact Al for special dates or times for your group or organization.
Attention Ladies
Handgun Familiarization Class
In addition, Al, has developed a class that is designed for women only. This class includes elements tailored to the concerns of women and is presented to allow discussion on all topics. Al assumes that the student has never fired a handgun and instructs the class on all of the fundamentals of firearms safety and basic handgun techniques.
Lunch will be served which will include a salad bar and desert followed by time on the adjacent firing range with handguns appropriate for beginning shooters.
The afternoon classroom session will include a presentation on Personal Protection Without a Firearm.
